Meddys founder Alex Harb started the company with a mission to provide fresh, fast, and affordable Mediterranean cuisine in America. After moving to the U.S. from Lebanon in the late 1990s to study computer science at Wichita State University, Alex gained valuable restaurant experience while working his way through school. Following success in IT, he pursued his passion for food. Inspired by his childhood in Lebanon, Alex collaborated with a Lebanese cook to develop a simple menu based on his mother's traditional recipes and the Mediterranean herbs from his father's grocery. In 2014, Meddys was established, focusing on fresh, hand-crafted dishes that are healthy and full of flavor.
